converting to throttle by wire
Does anyone know if it is possible to convert a ls1 engine to a throttle by wire.would the pcm have to be changed to correctly do it. or do they have cool conversion kit.

Yeah I don't think you can and for another reason I don't know why you would. I'm pretty used to it by now but its a different throttle feeling, I'd much rather have it by wire.

There is a delay when you mash the pedal, it isn't drastic and you get used to, but Mickey just drove my car a week or so ago and mentioned it. It not a big deal but with tuners being able to tune the Fbody as well as they can, even if it were possible (which anything like this is with enough money) I don't think it would be worth the hassle.

Both my H2 and my CTS-V are drive by wire. Both present problems when looking at mods like larger TB's, nitrous activation switches, etc. More complications = more problems in my opinion.
I had a issue for a while when I first started making the truck faster. The throttle would slam shut before the 60 ft mark and then open back up when I reached what I assumed was an acceptable rate of acceleration. More tuning hassle!
Don't even get me started on setting IAC and throttle idle tables for a drive by wire.
Stay simple and manual if you can.
