Default Hello

Hi, I'd just like to introduce myself. (this should probably be in the "introductions" forum, but I'm mostly going to hang out here) My name is Robbie. My wife and I have a 2002 Firebird that we're wanting to put some money into, so I'll probably be on here quite a bit asking for advise. We live in Everett, WA, and plan to be here for a little while longer. I also have an 04 Cavalier, so if anyone needs help with a J-body, I'm here. Hope to meet some people on here, and get some helpful tips.

Firebird as in V6 Firebird, or as in Formula / Trans Am Firebird?

fbods an fbod, welcome! Its true most of these guys are all into the power but you'll also find them to be helpful with other things as well. We dont all just drive and ls1 or lt1, althought it would be nice Just in case you were looking for an ls1 there is a member here with a ws6 for sale with a forged 347 asking 13000 obo... very low mileage ...

Oh, don't worry, I plan on it. Either that or a supercharger. Which one is better for our cars?

Turbo seems to be the route to choose... that is what I would do. If you run into some questions and can't find them here, there are a few guys on my site that have turbo'ed V6 F-bodies that could help you out.

Welcome to the boards you guys.

No worries about that V6. Those things can be deceptive too if you trick them out right.

Welcome Robbie...........99.99% of us here are great people. Your passion for your car gives you the right to be here. There are tons of mustang guys here, and in my book you have more of a right being here than they do. (I'll pay for that)........

The interesting part will be how long you keep the V6 before buying an LSX?

MO on the turbo or supercharger would be turbo. They are more efficient and for your application would give you more gains. You don't need to use power to gain power with turbo's.

And again......welcome

Thanks a lot everybody. I already feel welcome Well, I'll be around here a lot, and I'll be sure to ask questions whenever I think of them. The only thing I need to know right now is if anyone knows where I can get a passenger side honeycomb tail light for a good price?
Thanks!!!
