I know a bunch of parents that would appreciate that
Its not cruel to teach your kids a lesson.

The full story should be shown where the kid wakes up the parents screaming with nightmares for the 3 weeks following the vid. Can you say wasted money on therapy as well ? Ever wonder where that kid who tortures animals or even worse, people comes from? I'm in favor of dscipline dont get me wrong but cruelty has never been my bag. That vid is just plain cruel. Nice parents. And dont get me wrong I'm not judging anyone here, just giving my opinion of the vid. Honestly what kind of parents laughs while his kid is scared shitless. What kind of parent plays that kind of joke on their young kid? I could go off on who ever made the vid, being a good parent is not one of thiers skills and I'll leave it at that. You need to do that to feel go about yourself or have fun you have some serious issues.

A link to this "game" was posted on a board I frequent with just the title "try this game!' ... it isnt uncommon for them to post cute little games, so a bunch of people fell for it.

I damn near had heart failure when that thing popped up, and I am 28. One of the gals' 6 year old daughter was watching her play it and completely freaked. Now, if the kid was older - 12, 13 - and more able to deal with that kind of thing then it would probably be funny to me, but I wont even let my 8 yr old watch scary movies because she is prone to nightmares ... poor kid would need a psychiatrist after something like that! lol

Not really, but I have a couple kids that age and younger, he looked 5 to me, and in no way would I ever do that to one of them. Not at that age anyway. Wait and ask me when they are teenagers and I'm sure I'll have something different to say But that was just plain mean by someone looking to score money on Americas Funniest Home Videos. I'm still in the protect my kids from everything stage where I see **** like that as retarded. Kids are supposed to feel safe at home, and be able to trust thier parents. I see that vid in a whole different way than most of you do I'm sure.

Ya I grew up in the late 60's and 70's as well but I've learned from my parents mistakes I hope. You know what though, no kid ever walked into a middle school in the 70's and opened fire either. Only a college in Texas and from a tower and the NTL guard in Ohio. My uncles were all outdoorsmen from Maine and beleived in tough love as well but they never tortured thier kids. People overdosed and died in mud puddles in the park I played in and there was a rape trend one summer but torturing kids was never accepted back then either. Your dad had a lot of fun at your expense. Did you enjoy it as well as he did? My guess is that you didnt and you wouldnt put your kid through it either. Or maybe that was how you guys had fun and it didnt bother you. I dont know, but if that was my dad I wouldnt go for a ride with him again unless my mom was there. even today

Didn't you have siblings as a Child and get the crap scared out of you once or twice? Only difference now is that kid got scared by a computer which we didn't have as kids...He'll get over it...
