Default Fedex has been busy this year, and the pics to prove it....

I got the calipers in today, but the pics don't do them justice. They're Starlight Red, meaning Red Metallic, very nice finish. (Ask Ellis) The calipers were done Mike at thepowdercoater.com, the rotors done by our own Derek (Thanks again Ack), and the wheels CCW SP500s they're a little dirty but looking better than when I got them (thanks again to everyone who voted). So here are the pics........I've still got a set of SS brake covers coming in to really bring out the calipers and wheels, but I'll just save those for the final pics.

That looks really good, Rey. Those calipers are going to look great behind those wheels.

I can't see the pics from this computer. The military firewall blocks all kinds of crap. I'll have to see them when I get home.

From what I've heard, they're ~20lbs up front and ~21lbs. So very close to the ZO6 weights 19.2 and 21.

No it pretty much sucks *** out here. I've been thinking about puching one of my superiors so I'll get sent home. J/K!

Its boring out here. Not nearly as much to do as Germany. I can't wait to get home. Maybe you can e-mail me those pics to my military e-mail address so I can see them. I'll pm you my address later. So how is the heads, intake project coming?

I've been contemplating a wet plate n20 system lately, so I may go that route when I get home. One thing that kinda sucks is that when I get home it'll be in the middle of race season and I won't have much time to get my parts shipped and bolted on before season's end. And I want to get as much racing in as possible. I need the practice bad!! 11.88 with 1.795 60' time is pretty bad. With practice I should get way better times.

So not many people have had good runs since I've been gone. WTF???

Is the weather that shitty right now? And when does Bremerton open up???

Anyway, I wish I could see the pics........I bet they look good.

oh and BTW, your still slower than me.

Not sure yet, might keep them for the track......but then I'll have an extra set of Z06 wheels just sitting. I'm thinking of selling off the ZO6 wheels and keeping the 5 spoke ones, but then I'll need to get new DRs. So I'm not sure yet. In the mean time they're good for holding up lamps.
