Finally got the Vette finished!!! For now......LOL!!!
Well I got the WBC installed along with the fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauges. It took me a while to get the wireing laid out and shored up. But all in all I'm really happy with the fit and finish.
Friday night I was working on the fuel pressure regulator which bolts to the T connector on the end of the fuel rail. And as I was tightening it down the end of the fuel rail bent downwards. So I tried to bend it back up to where it would be horizontal again, and drip drip....fuel started coming our from the fuel rail end. So need I say I was really pissed off. Fortunately I had another fuel rail laying around and all I had to do was swap them.
Let me tell you that pulling that main fuel line off without the propper tool is not fun to do!
Anyway, the rest went relatively smooth. I finished the fuel rail swap late Friday night and got up early Saturday to finish the gauge install. I finally got it all finished about 1200 to 1230 and eagerly started the car up to see the gauges come on. And nothing.............
After fiddling around for about an hour, I found that it was just a bad ground. I regrounded the gauges and BAM............all working just fine.
At idle fuel pressure is right around 65psi and under WOT it never drops below 60psi. Pretty damn good if you ask me. I have yet to see what happens to the fuel pressure under WOT while I'm spraying the nitrous, but I'm sure its still nice and high.
Well I'm at work right now and as soon as I get home I'll post up some pics of the gauges and all that stuff.
