Charlie's Brute Update (Pics)
I stopped in last night to check out Charlie's "Brute", aka Chevelle.
502BBC. It's one mean mama jama.
I can't tell you the specifics, Charlie will have to chime in. I remember with the old motor the ground would shake from what felt like a mile away.
It's setup to launch, and launch hard. There is no roll *cage* in there yet, as it's a work in progress but I really look forward to seeing this baby fire up and hit the track this season.
Here are a few pictures I took:

There seems to be a few fast Chevelle projects on here. Looks pretty badass. Rick needs to get his *** in gear though, don't think his has even rolled in 3 years Also, I have that same Crescent tool kit!

Thanks for posting those up Tyler. The neighbors probably though we were nuts taking pics of the car at 1 AM. I like that little tool set but it's starting to miss a few items now. I'm trying to figure out what to paint this thing as it's hard to match up with the green interior. My plumbing job looks better in the pics than in person to me. Hopefully I can get the little stuff done and fire this thing by next month cause I'm gettin' antsy.

I currently have the cloth bench with a lap belt and will keep that for cruising days but I need a pair of good seat. I might be interested in either those Kirkey's Ellis or the redone buckets. I was thinking of making it an SS clone anyways so the bench would have to go. At least, I don't recall ever seeing bench seats with the SS package. I don't know, I haven't decided yet. I do know there's a 4 or 6" cowl hood going on it and I know that bench with a lap belt makes me nervous when I race it.
