Default anyone ever use house of kolor?

im getting ready to paint my car and im planning on using house of kolor shimirin kandy organic green

has anyone used house of kolor before and if so how did it spray?

I bet that will look really nice. All I know is that HOK is what just about everybody uses. Probably one of the best paints.

House of kolor is great stuff. With that said candy paint jobs are probably the hardest to spray. Your overlap and material flow has to be perfect or you will end up with "tiger striping." This is something you definately want to leave up to the pros to get right and even then you should ask to see their previous candy jobs to make sure they are capable.

its ok i wouldnt say its the best product out there, iam a ppg guy so i like ppgs harliquin colors, its the dbc system and looks just as good as HOK
and like this guy said ya need allot of experience in painting candy color if ya dont it will look like a 4 wheel zebra

What he said. Also in my experiance, it didn't cover worth a crap and you needed a butt load of material.

thanks haha and the camaro is getting painted but i think we decided to just go with an original green even though i really liked this color........

go with house of kolor kandy basecoat. Almost the same look just 10 times easier to apply. If you go with a similar color for a basecoat it would cover faster and easier to apply.
