Default Totaled and fixed SS- opinions wanted...

I was looking at this SS that was wrecked and totaled. I figured I'd get some opinions about it. I see the RR quarter is slightly crumpled above the wheel well and the rear tail panel is buckled on the right side. Probably some slight frame damage. Can anyone see something I'm missing (other than a missing rear bumper and lights LOL)?

Here is the damage before being fixed:

Here is a pic after the fix:

Just trying to gauge on what to offer the guy, he's asking $7K.

Seems a little high for a salvage title. It may be perfectly fine, but $5000 is probably fair depending on the milege.

With that many miles, that car WITHOUT a salvaged title would be going for around 7 or 8 grand in my area. I don't know what the market is like for f-bodies out west but here in Florida that car wouldn't be worth 7k...maybe 5k

I agree with the above. Even if the market is somewhat strong in NM for f-bods, you can always find a car online, fly to it and drive it back. 7K for a salvage title with 133k is way steep in my opinion.

I agree with it being way too much. Especially if there was some frame damage and they didn't fix it right, that could mean A LOT of problems down the road. I'd get it thoroughly checked before considering buying it. And i'd offer less than 5k, unless the interior was CLEANNNN.

Thats way to much. That car isnt worth more then 4k with a salvaged title, and that kind of miles.

If you're paying cash they might go for something in the $4-5K range. Most companies I've known won't finance a salvage car.

Thanks for all the comments, maybe I'll fire off an email to him to see if he'd consider around $5K for it after Christmas.

i paid 5k for my Z with only 90k on it clean title. bought it in florida and had it transported back. so 7k is way to high. you are better off finding another car that hasnt been in an accident
