Hit a patch of ice
I was pulling out of my driveway the other day and the car hit a patch of ice and slid right into my dad's work trailer. I was wondering about how much it would be to fix the damage. I know that the quarter panel is welded on so its not going to be cheap. I'm still in highschool so I don't have too much money to spend.

dude, seriously just push it out from the inside, years ago my brother had a 94 z71 and clipped a pole (like they have infront of the doors of walmart) and dented the space behind the passenger door (this was before I was even a freshman in highschool) and I just pulled the plastic pocket out from inside reached my hand down there and pushed out like 90% of the dent by hand, it will still need some work but won't look so bad till you afford to have it fixed. it will most likely be several hundred bucks simply because after they finish straightening it, they will have to repaint and blend the quarter.

I had a dent that was similar. I had to have both sides fixed though. The body shop wound up replacing my bumper cover due to the passenger side, so it cost me about $2k for that side. My insurance covered it, but I still had to pay the $1000 deductible.
The driver side cost me a little over $800 out of pocket.
I hope this helps a little. My car did need the bumper cover, but I'm not sure yours does. That's where a bit of my cost came from. I can tell from the inside though, they didn't replace the quarter. They just pulled it and repainted it.

I'll definitely try to push most of it out. Now it's time to start working more and saving up money. I was gonna have my insurance fix it but the deductible is 1000 and then my rates go up so I might as well just pay it out of my pocket. Thanks for all the input guys

Take it to a body shop before attempting anything at least let them look at it. amateur repairs make the price go up when you decide you can't handle it screw it up worse and finally decide to take it in to get a repair done.
There used to be a bodyshop here who had a guy in his 80s working there. A real body man not a modern bondo slopper and parts replacer. I watched him work absolute miracles sometimes the damage was minimized to the point you could tell something had happened but it was minimal enough you could live with it if you didn't want to drop the coins on it.
