Sell me your hood! I have a white Z. Don't listen to anyone else. If you're thinking you like the looks of a sunco better, then you'll never be happy till it's on top of your car.

I really like the VFN hood. I'm considering getting one myself.

Either way is a good choice!! I love both hoods... Since you have an SS I would just keep the hood and spend the money somewhere else as said before..

I agree with this guy, I'm sure you already know of the 3'' SS hood. That would be my choice if I had an SS but either way, the sunoco is nice.

I would consider the swap if you were in an accident and it was time to get a new hood. Then go with the sunoco since that's not the case stay with the SS. Looks great.

I have a VFN Sunoco hood and I really like it, but the body shop had a hard time fitting it, and it still doesn't fit quite right at the windshield-- the passenger side wiper doesn't clear the hood, so you can't raise it up. But it fits a lot better than the UltraZ hood I had before that.

Couldn't help but notice the problem your having. Is it possible to send us a picture of the problem area along with an overall view so we can help you troubleshoot what's going on with your hood.
The wiper should work - the hood is not over factory size. We have an employee here with the same hood on his camaro and he has plenty of room for his wipers to function. We took this into consideration when making the mold.
If you can send me the pics we'll gladly check em out and I bet with a little troubleshooting we can get that guy to fit correctly. You can email them to: info@vfnfiberglass.com
Thanks!!
Jeanie

Sure, thanks for the offer. I'm at work right now, but I'll take some pics this weekend and post them up here.

Sounds great, I will keep an eye out for them.
It would be best if you could send them to my email so that if we need a closer view then what's on the screen, it'll be easier for me to "blow them up".
Thanks!!

Wow. If that isn't first-class customer service AFTER the sale I don't know what is.
