my friend is working on one right now, I told him to make me one! Sorry I don't have any pictures. Basically it slides down on tracks and when it hits the end it will flip up. Just needs to figure out the electonics. flips from right under the nose of the car.

there is a company that makes a clear cover that goes over the plate then when you flip a switch it turns opaque and you can no longer read it. i don't remember the name of the company but there is a video on youtube do a search for bull run license plate test someone put one on the back of a lambo, then check out the first related vid

Just installed my Altec plate yesterday, got it from ninosport.com. Mustang website, but plates universal and only place i could really find it for sale. This company also has em for sale on ebay. Here's some quick pics i took with my camera phone, dont mind it being dirty, whole car is dirty. Rained lastnight and looks as if its going to rain again today.....

Here's the plate itself...

Here it is in the up postion...

Now in the down position (from here you just slide it right back under the car)

Now hidden (kind of hard to view, shitty camera phone pic)

I was gonna position it in the middle, but regardless of where you put it. It's still gonna look shitty lol But ay, when you need it. you need it...would like to get this motorized sometime, hopefully someone will write something up on how to do this.

that's real nice but there has to be a way you can fabricate it where you have a button that releases pressure and pops it out.

not bad--doesn't seem like you'd notice it that much when it's folded away
