Default Removed Door Molding and...

found out that my car has been painted but it was painted black like before so now you can see where the molding was b/c its upraised. the paint on my car isnt the best but i dont want lines running down the side.

is there anything to do to fix this other than put them back on (i like the clean look) or repaint (could be in the future but i dont feel like spending 2500 right now)?
pics:

rest of the paint:

you cant really see the paint mistakes unless you get about 5 feet away from the car

Possibly wet sand to level out and then buff? Take a photo and post it.

Just try blending it in together. Wet sand.

You will not be able to blend by wet sanding, you could smooth it out so you wouldn't be able to feel the line. And being that it's black it wouldn't be as noticeable but you will still be able to see it. Not to mention if you're not a skilled cut and buff man you risk burning the paint, especially where the molding used to be.

Torques right, you might be able to make it presentable till you can paint the sides. Be careful it might make it worse than it already is.
