i have a really nice th400 for sale. it is a short shaft th400 with an HD case. it is set up really well, with a case saver, rollerized thrust bearings, 34 element sprag, BTE pro-brake full reverse manual valve body and t-brake. this trans was in an outlaw 632 car before mine (refreshed before i got it, for no reason other than he wanted it fresh for me). i would like to sell as a "kit". comes with:
-9" XHD Transmission Specialties converter, 4500 stall for genI sbc/bbc with billet anti-balooning cover. will work with crankspacer on lsx engines...converter drives great, and only has 3% slippage behind my 550hp engine in my 3500lb car.
-deep finned oil pan
-an fittings and cooler lines (aeroquip pushlok)
-hurst pistol grip quarter stick and shift cable
-autometer 2 5/8" sportcomp trans temp gauge
-b&m super cooler
-strange slip yoke(not billet)
-lokar dipstick

the transmission has about 500-800 street miles, and about 100-150 passes. only pulling to go to a t56 (talk to me about a trade on your built t56! maybe we can work something out) works flawlessly! the trans has never been over 165* since i've owned it.

will ship at buyers expense but really would like to sell locally.

Very tempting but slightly out of my budget and the converter just a tad too loose for my planned 4.8 turbo set up. If you could do something without the converter I may be interested.

Im also in Jax, Fl so I could pick it up.

i'd take $1100 picked up without the converter, but you can have everything else. or take the converter and send it back to TSI to have it tightened up....this converter is $750 new by itself.
