LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I have a for sale a 2007/2008 Vortec Max 6.0 (aluminum 6.0 w/ L92 heads) out of a Truck. Motor is a L76 with DoD and VVT.

The motor was pulled from the truck for a miss due to a DoD lifter going out.

Motor has 105k miles on it and was running in the truck fine (other than the miss) up until today.

Will be sold with no accessories or intake. What's included is basically from Heads to oil pan.

Shipping is possible, but at the buyers expense. I will drop it off at a local freight company of your choosing, or you could have an LTL company pick the motor up at my shop.

Default engine

That kind of failure doesn't provoke any internal damage? How can it be fixed?

There's always a possibility that if the problem were to stretch out over time the lifter could wipe the cam lobe, but that is not the case here.

Basically the way to fix it, is to either buy another DoD lifter, or get a Displacement on Demand delete kit. This basically converts the motor to an LS2 with LS3/L92 heads on it.
