Default ???

Shouldn't the return oil bung be facing up a little to help with returning the oil and not facing down? Seems like it will cause problem with oil backing up!!!
LOL GLWS!

not really it might have a little pooling in the line but at that spot its not like you can put it straight in its behind the crank pulley. As long as its above the level of the oil in the pan it'll work. If its a problem a simple pipe plug makes it like it was never there, then put one wherever you want.....unless you can't weld aluminum then you'll need someone else to do it.

You should probably move along if you're not buying, there are enough trolls on the internet

That would be ideal, yes. The previous owner had drilled and tapped the hole in this location on the corner of the pan, I'm assuming to clear the balancer. Obviously this wasn't very smart as it would not seal properly. I had a bung tig welded in place to solve this problem. I ran it with no backing up issues. If you don't feel comfortable, It comes with a fitting in the side as well.

Just cause I state the obvious doesn't make me a troll!! What makes someone a troll on the Internet is "someone" being you having to come to your friends defense and justify that it will work! From past experience I can tell u pooling in the line causes the oil to get backed up!!! Like I said before! But u can plug it and use the other one like the seller said.
Again GLWS!
