Beautiful new microploshed Callies Magnum XL 3.185 stroke, Honda 1.888 rod journals and standard LS1 mains. Rod journals are standard LS1 width.
This is a work of art and with the micropolishing by Performancemetal at www.performancemetal.net it looks almost too nice to install in a motor. The pictures don't do it justice. The micopolish is a $140 extra on top of the retail $2500+ that these are new and helps with oil shedding and windage. According to Callies this crank was originally ordered for a Dayona prototype team in North Carolina were it was a spare. Callies originally balanced it for a 1610 gram bobweight but it was later rebalanced for a 1579 gram bobweight. These weigh only 38lbs. and would make a great foundation to a high RPM build. I bought this one and a micropolished 3.5 inch stoke version that I am going to use in my LSA block build. I originally planned a road race car built around this crank but due to health that is not going to happen. There is no Reluctor wheel installed. I am using Dyers Top rods for my build but for a more budget minded build Eagle makes couple of rods that will work with this cranks journals and Racetech will set the correct compression height on their pistons for no extra cost. $695 plus actual shipping with no extra Paypal charge. Local pickup welcome in Hemet or Temecula, Ca.

I've had a couple of questions about the benefits of micropolishing. It is basically the same thing that Eagle now offers as a $240 option on their cranks that they call ESP Armor and they claim both increases in power and lower oil temps also, http://www.eaglerod.com/index.php?op...id=7&Itemid=27.

While there is no specific rod to use with these for a shelf piston, the shelf rods from Eagle at either 6.460 or 6.560 would allow you to have a piston with either around a 1.19 or 1.09 compression height. There are stroker pistons that could get you close you just have to look around. I as I mentioned in my original post, Racetech, ran by the former owner of JE pistons could put the compression height at either of these heights without charging you for a custom piston. Here is a link to a set of rods: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170989287217...84.m1423.l2649 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/170989287217...84.m1423.l2649. The longer 6.560 could be used with these pistons if you have a block that can go 4.060: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360637148434...84.m1423.l2649

Price drop, $695 plus actual shipping. A quarter of the price you would pay out the door from Callies.

This crank does not have the longer LS7 snout for a dry sump.

Man thats a great price. But a queer stroke. It really is a shame you have to lower the price so much on a nice piece. Free bump.

I am thinking about this crank, and since you are in Hemet and I am in Temecula it would be too easy.
