Default L92 Shortblock (has complete rotating assembly)

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $1
Part Fits: 2010+ Camaro, 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO, 04+ Cadillac CTS-V, 67-92 Chevrolet Camaro, 67-92 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): VA
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

This is a complete (minus lifters) L92 short block.
Has front and rear covers, harmonic balancer, as well as the truck oil pan assembly (pan, tray and pick up tube).

This is out of a 2007 Yukon Denali with 180k. Was told "a lifter broke", which I can only guess means a lifter collapsed/failed and the engine **possibly (but not certain)** ate a pushrod.
This is sitting in friends garage in VA waiting for a new owner.

Aside from what I have posted above I don't really have any other details and the guy I got it from (where it is still located) doesn't have much info either -I lined him up with a good complete short block and he had his shop swap everything needed from this engine and put back into his Denali.

For anyone looking to build a 6.2L L92/LS3 -a new bare block alone is in the neighborhood of $1700 including shipping and includes none of the rotating assembly. There is over $500 in extra's when you figure in the front and rear covers, harmonic balancer, valley cover and the oil pan set.
Buy here, save here!!!

For anyone interested -here's a breakdown of prices including shipping in the lower 48 states:
**Deduct $50 if I can ship to a business address that has a loading dock or forklift**
East Coast (east of Tennessee) $1450
Mideast (east of Texas-Wisconsin) $1550
Midwest (New Mexico/Montana) $1650
West Coast $1750)

Kennyg, yes, please explain. You were whining g about the purchase less than 2 days after you bought the heads from me.
I wasn't able to ship your heads out as soon as I had hoped to & just because the heads had dirt from being in a farm kids car (one had more dirt on it because it was a fwd car so the back head collected more dirt) and you are upset because of that?
As for what you paid, you agreed to the price, which is what I have sold several other sets for and no one else whined like you.

@Twistedchevy
If you buy something like this you need to tear it down before you buy it! chances are that block is junk! A broke Lifter or a collapsed lifter that's a big difference!

Is this another way to try to blame someone else like you did with KennyG heads? Since you blamed the junkyard for supplying you junk heads that you didn't personally see yourself, That you sold to a buyer here as good heads.
Maybe you should know first hand what you are selling on this board before you end up with another negative feedback.
Selling used parts blindly is never a good idea.

I agree. It sounds like he is a broker... Only, you know, without credibility or accountability.

Hey, we can all do this! We can advertise engines that we see on ebay, and when the buyer pays for it, we can purchase it and have it shipped to the buyer!
