I recently got my car done and hurt the transmission with only 78 miles on the new build. I converted my LT1 t56 with 62,000 miles to an LS t56. I used brand new input shaft and front plate from Rockland Standard Gear to convert the tranny. The transmission was grinding mainly 4th gear ever since I got it back on the road. This has me puzzled because when I pulled the tranny out of the car it was perfect. The car still goes in every gear, but it's obvious there is an issue. My guess is I chipped a tooth on one of the gears and it's floating around in there. I won't know for sure until I get it out and take a look inside.

I wanted to go automatic anyway, so I'm deciding to sell everything. This is the perfect setup for someone who wants to rebuild and beef up a t56. I have the following parts for sale..

-LT1 t56 converted to LS with unknown issues at the time SOLD

-LS1 t56 bellhousing. $125 SOLD

-Monster Stage 5 Single disc clutch with 28lb flywheel. Only 78 miles on it. $500

-Tick master cylinder with 78 miles on it. $240 SOLD

-Tick speed bleeder. $40 SOLD

-LS1 slave cylinder with 78 miles on it. $100 SOLD

-LS1 AND Lt1 t56 pedals. $50 each or trade for your auto pedals.

-T56 factory crossmember with bolts. $50 SOLD

-Clutch Fluid Reservoir. $25

I am located 30 miles south of Pittsburgh Pa if anyone local wants anything. I will also ship parts but the buyer pays for shipping. If anyone is interested in anything just shoot me a message. Thanks!
