I bought a 4l85E for my 78 Firebird. Decided to go with a manual transmission instead. This should bolt to any SBC or BBC. I have the transmission and the g-force crossmember to put it in a second gen fbody. I am located in the St. Louis area. Asking $875 for the trans and $200 for the crossmember. $1000 for the pair. Will ship at buyers expense.

It also comes with the stock torque converter. This was taken out of a decommissioned 3500 chevy van owned my a local municipality 10k miles after the transmission was replaced with the remanufactured unit. These are conservatively rated around 460 ft lbs in a vehicle rated for 22000 pounds of towing capacity. They should take a ton of abuse.

I had someone ask me last week and Saia wanted about 250 to ship it to texas. If you want to find your own freight company I can strap it to a pallet and drop it off at any freight company in the St Louis area.

It was installed in a 2005 chevy 3500 van. It was a remanufactured unit from jasper and I am sure it could have been installed in many different models.
