Volant CAI, SSRA, Delphi 85mm maf with harness
Slot for SSRA
Sealed good against inside of hood also. It was getting all cool air.
Has air temp sensor too.
Hi guys. I'm switching my induction to a 78mm turbo from a H/C na car. I basically have my whole intake tract for sale. The parts will be listed separately but if you wanted all of them, we could work something out.
First is my Volant cold air intake kit. I cut a slot open in the bottom of it to take advantage of the SSRA I had. So it gets cool air from the hood of the car and also the bottom right off the street. If you didn't use the SSRA, it would still be like the free ram air mod. Made sense to me. $180 for the Volant and $110 for the SSRA. I upgraded to a GM 85mm maf as well. Descreened. Worked well. Would come with adapter harness since air temp sensor is built into maf. $90 for the maf and harness.

What did you use to hook the volant to the maf? the black hose setup? I have some issues keeping my maf inside my volant, doesnt like to stay, what ever you used would solve all my issues.

i used black silicone couplers. I didn't try to shove the maf inside the plastic volant piece. Just butt up to it with the hose going over both and two big hose clamps
