WTB: LS2/LS1 swap parts for my v6 bird into a v8
Im taking my camd v6 Firebird and gonna do a LS2 swap wither hopefully a 4l80e. I will do a Ls1 swap If I cnat find a LS2 for a decnet enogh price. Im planning on doing this becaus I was gonna sell the car as is and go buy a LS1 car but its not selling right now. So im going to plan B whihc man said I should since its such a nice car and I know whats I have already. I founda a LS1 w/ 4l60 for a decent price with 56k on it and a stall but if anyone knows where an engine and tranny is let me know.
The car - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/421320
List of parts needed for swap:
-LS2 or LS1 engine preferably LS1 - complete engine
-preferably 4l80e but a decent build 4l60 will do if I cnat find one
-wiring harness for engine and tranny
-K-frame
-Ls1 radiator
-LS1 fuel pump assembly
-LS1 gauge cluster
-LS1 throttle system
-LS1 front springs - I really want a set of hotchkis front springs so i may have to get a hold of them but if anyone has a full set of Eibachs or something similar Ill take them
Im sure there are a few other things that IM missing that I cna get new or what not but this is the majority for what I need. Thanx guys in advance. Chris H.

You don't need the gauge cluster.. If you swap them out, your airbags won't work unless you do some pin work. Get up with Phil and Shum and they'll be able to get you accurate info on what all you need, etc.. I went the same route as you a couple years ago. I'd add long tube headers and put them on while the motor is out. Also may want to do any internals (cam/valvesprings) with the motor out. Would make it a ton easier changing the springs when you don't have to work under the cowl.. Oh and you'll want an adjustable torque arm to set the pinion angle. Mine was out and I got vibration/noise up at around 60 because of it... May as well get some LCA's or box your stockers while you're at it to cut down on wheel hop.

I plan on dong some Lts and cam valvetrain work while its out. I already have a full performance suspension under the car. I have a torque arm but jsut havent installed it do to me loosing my bushing which I can get one easy. Im sure Phill can do the pin work for the air bags to work. He just installed LS1 fans on my SS truck throuthe the computer.
