Default WTB: Trashed Short Blocks (Local preferred, Upstate SC)

Looking for short blocks that would otherwise be scrap. Willing to drive an hour or two to pick up for the right price. LS block first priority, aluminum or iron, then any other 8+ cylinder block, 6 cylinder block lowest priority. Couple hundred dollars max, well more than scrap prices and I'll free up space in your garage. All I need is the block and rotating assembly.

I have a repairable 2001 LS1 block. The outer starter bolt boss is broken off and it has a crack in the skirting of the block from a broken rod. I was hanging on to it to fix down the road if I had a use for it, but PM me an offer if you're interested.

Yes it would, that's exactly what I'm looking for! Although shipping from Houston will probably cost more than I want to pay... let me talk to my Dad in Conroe and see if he wants to come visit me!

have a 98 LS1 block, outer starter mount hole broke off, been using a nut on the end of a bolt for 3 years, no problem. #8 needs to be re-ringed getting a lot of blow by. Has crank and pistons assmembled. $300 PM picked up if interested
