I know the mufflex can be expensive, have you looked at the sinister 4in from hawks third gen? Then you have more options on mufflers.

I never even heard of it... Checked it out, looks like just piping add your own muffler?

Yup or run it straight pipe, but it's going to be loud as hell. I picked up a used mufflex and hated the flowmaster that came with it so I ran it straight piped. Then I put a dynatech split flow in there and couldn't be happier.

14402, if you look around on YouTube you can find some videos of that muffler in a 4inch. I don't have any good ones of mine to show you.
