Question HPT Guys Please Help

OK I just upgraded to the USB Interface for my 99 Camaro SS and I havent' used it yet.I got my Car Totaled out and am Looking at a 98 Trans Am WS6 car.Will I be able to use my new HPT Interface on the 98 Trans Am?And How will the Tune Look ,will I have just as much tunebility on the 98 and I did with my 99?

98 files look nearly identical to 99+, I think there are still about 400 editable tables/parameters in the 98 calibrations If I remember correctly so you won't be missing too much.

No problem w/ '98s, but you do have to be careful about the
number of fielded OS versions, data from one won't play right
with another and so on. From '99 up the data structure (not
the data, but what-stores-where, was uniform.

There are year-year differences and oddities but nothing to
worry about I think. Just more features on the later OSes.

Of course you'll have to cough up a couple of credits as
the model year changed on you.

Thats what I thought so to avoid buying more Credits I would Be ok staying with the same Model year?Thanks

If you have the license for the entire model year. if you don't and only licensed a single vehicle then yes you would have to spend 2 more. Check the licensing info in the help tab to make sure.
