Default Diablo Tune after PCM Changes?

I recently had my rear gears changed from 2.73 to 3.73 and several computer parameters were changed: gear ratio, shift points (A4), fan temps. I just bought the Diablo and the instructions warn against loading the Diablo tuning if the PCM has been modified. It says the PCM could be damaged. Should I return Diablo and play it safe?

Thanks.

These things are all stuff the Predator "sees"
and can change. I don't think these are the kind
of thing the weasel-wording is meant to cover.
It's more about something like having the PCM
performance-tuned (AFR, spark, etc.) and then
having the Predator push it even further, when it
"thinks" it's starting from a stock baseline, and
(more than the PCM) you go detonate a hole in a
piston or something.

But I would take RWTD's word (or the vendor you
bought from, whoever it is) over mine, since I'm
not gonna fix your PCM.

I contacted TByrne Motorsports and they do not advise using the Predator with a modified computer. The problem is that they won't take it back! They said no returns on electronic equipment. Even though I told them it was never used. What's up with that? Anybody run into the same problem?

I just called TByrne and their nice custermer service person said to contact the Predator manufacturer because they can give me a modified program if my computer was changed in an area that could cause problems. They also said if I can't get it resolved they would take it back. That's good to know.

I contacted Diablo and they do not recommend installing Predator with a computer unless it is back to factory spec. I called TByrne and they'll take it back.
Can't use it -- too bad.
