MS4 cam Tune
Got a 01 Trans am with a NEW stock displacement LS1 with following boltons
Patriot STG 3 heads
slp LT header
MS4 cam
44 LB racetronix Injectors ( maybe a bit big but needed new ones)
the started after install and did the cam break in just fine.
but when I drove the car it was cutting out bad. after a ten min. drive car smoothed its self out. did a few launches and it did fine in 1st and 2nd but in third stumbled bad at about 60 mph. got home and ck the plugs they were black. this morning tried to update the injectors and the plugs were drenched with gas and I changed them. So I uploaded the last tune and the car did the same a 1st start on motor. it seams like the car is way rich and cuts out bad when driving.
I think the bigger injectors with stock injectors settings are the big problem. So how do I tell the pcm the correct settings? cant attch (i can e-mail it to ya) my current tune so any help on this is needed and maybe some education on the process.

I had the same question. Easy fix. Go to HPTuners.com. Log in. Go to the tune library. Download a similar tune by searching for the size injector your have. Bring up your current tune in the editor, then using the compare feature bring up the tune with the injectors size you need. Simply copy over the following values using the compare feature. ONLY copy over the tables I have listed below.
Answer given to me in PM by WS6FirebirdTA00 (Moderator) on HPTuners.com/Forum. Thank again man!
"If they are known good tables, copy over the offset, short pulse adder, default pulse, and min pulse."
DONE SON!

Update!
We did just the above yesterday for our FAST 36lb. injectors and it looks like the guy who uploaded/noted his tune with FAST 36lb. injectors NEVER updated the tables. He basically said "I have these hard parts installed..." but never tuned the tables from stock for them. SO what I am saying is be careful when assuming that the tune in the repository is ready to rock! It hasn't hurt anything yet but our ego.

Just a FYI, it's never a good idea to copy and paste from another tune, unless it's one of your own ,and you know the accuracy of it.
