You will need the temp sensor.

I have removed all the wiring/sensors for the 02's and the knock sensors. Of course all the emissions stuff as well.

You will just have to turn off the codes in the tune.

why do i need to keep the temp sensor? If its for the fans im gonna hardwire them to my ing. and my car will be SD also so i can get rid of the O2's and MAF sensors also correct?

The whole tune relies on coolant temp to keep in check. DO not get rid of temp sensor. unless you go carbed.

SD still reads the O2 sensors, if your planning on running the car in open loop you can ditch them. If your in the gas hard the car goes into open loop either way, but i would leave the O2 sensors and closed loop cause it easier to get drivability back ( even if its just around the pits). This also could be cause i suck at tuning

02's are harder to get drivabilaty with. They are there for gas milage only. My Nova runs open loop all the time, no need in the extra sensors to buy.

good luck with your build. My drag car is ready now, I will be running it at Pinks all out on the 28th and then getting it painted after that.
