Don't think so, but there are codes for the ECT sensor.

Pre 96s don't have CKP sensors. Even if it was a 96+, the CKP sensor is only used for misfire info. You can unplug them and the car will still run.

Sounds like yours is either an opti going bad, or a bad connection somewhere.

Whats up with the jet tuning? Does that connect on top of the computer inside the engine bay? That is exposed to the elements, I'd take a look there if that is the case.

Sounds like an electrical problem either way though.

alright, i know it has to have something to do with going into closed loop. it is fine when its cold and when it warms up, even if its just from the sun it will die... i cant figure out what would be doing this.... what would shut off the engine in closed loop if it was going bad?

If the coolant temp is too high, fuel is cut off. Possibly bad ECT sensor? I'm not really sure how those work when they go bad. Maybe someone can shed some light on that. :cough: Ed :Cough:

When it doesn't start, you need to check for injector pulse with a 'noid light, and check for spark. My guess is you don't have spark for some reason. Why? It's too hard to say. Can't really diagnose stuff over the internet. Especially with no real information.
