Default Diablo Tune

Hey guys i just picked up my Diablo Predator today and i was wondering if i should modify any of the parameters and then start logging. My mods so far are Pacesetter LT headers, high flow cats with X pipe, K&N CAI, BBK 80mm TB. I was wondering with the mods if im going to need to add more fuel and timing.

Thanks for your help.

do some logging... that will show you where your average LTFT's are and what you need to adjust your injector slope to in order to get the ltft's dialed in to the proper range of 0 to -2...

did you buy the predator brand new? what revision is on it? when it boots up and is at the main menu, there's a number at the top of the screen... that's the revision number... what is it?

if it's a newer 9rXX revision, you can record/save data logs and connect to your PC to download them with diablo's DataViewer app.

if it's an older 2.XX revision, you can NOT record/save data logs, and can only view the data live on the predator screen while you drive.

do a steady drive/cruise on the highway, so that your rpms are between 1800-2000...

at the end, take the average of the ltft's... then adjust your injector slope the opposite amount...

the info on how to do it all is at that link I provided above...

and if you want, I can even take a look at the log files for ya, provided you have a newer one that can save the data logs.

Simple 12V 1 amp power supply (actually anything from 9-12V and 600-1500ma is fine), center tip is positive.

I did some freeway driving at about 65 my rpm was about 1800 ish. The LTFR seemed to settle at about 11.5. How do I get that down where it should be?

and besides the power adapter Mike mentioned above, you also need a usb-serial cable in order to actually hook up the predator to your Windows PC...

if your ltft's averaged 11.5, modify the diablo tune you have installed and adjust the injector slope to -12%...

Thats not something to be concerned with, part throttle timing is not adjusted in the canned tunes.

Okay so I have my ltfr dialed in but on my wot runs I'm getting a little bit of KR. How do I fix that?

well, you can try adding some fuel in the rpm range where you're getting the KR, or you can pull some timing...

what's your AFR at WOT??
