Default Spark rev limitier?

I have a few 3800 v6 manual transmission setups (similar distributor-less spark system to a LS11) that I am looking to do a spark cut rev limiter on. The stock PCM does not provide any spark cut type rev limits.

It is a turbo car, so 2step ability would be nice as well.

I'd go at this in the main timing table, roll back the spark
after certain RPM column.

However this might just result in a flamethrower exhaust
effect if you are huffing out a bunch of prime air/fuel
and not burning it in the hole.

I have played with a spark pull, but yes, turbo + 22psi + 14 degrees of timing (0 degrees advance on my setup) = melted exhaust valves.

My v6 pcm actually has a spark pull limiter of sorts..

My current method is making it go so rich it just misfires at 6400rpms.... would like to get away from that method (its on e85 so I dont have to worry about foul'ing).
