Default Can someone shed some light on MAFT please.

Well, i added the suncoast ram air system and bellows and added some LT headers/ORY on the TA. Can i benefit from getting a MAFT?

I have some eibach springs and a TSP lid that i was lookin to trade maybe for a MAFT or something.. Didnt want to trade if this MAFT is worthless..

A MAFT (Mass Air Flow Tuner) is used to alter the signal being generated by the MAF when you have altered the stock MAF (i.e. ported, MAF Ends, aftermarket, etc..)

If you have a stock MAF sensor then you do not need a MAFT. If you have a non-stock MAF then you need to do some scanning and see how your car reacted to the non-stock MAF. You may and you may not need a MAFT. Some aftermarket MAF (like the SLP 85mm) come pre-calibrated so they are less likely to need tuning (however they still may).

Basically a ported MAF will flow more air then is being reported by the sensor. The MAFT allows you to alter the signal so that the MAF reports more accurately on the air flowing through it.

Port your TB first..
