Default Looking for a tune

I have a 2000 ls1 with a 228R cam and edelbrock headers. Does anyone have a tune for this? I don't have a good starting point because the PCM has a funky tune on it (thanks ebay) that is commanding 20msec of injection at idle. I would love to save the headache of tuning this if I can borrow from someone.

Thanks!

Exactly what a mail order tune is for.

My brother had FROST do his and it worked great.

That's what I was worried about. There is a surprisingly small amount of files on the HP tuners repository. Thanks for the information.

That's because tuning is done by two types of people - those who put in the hard work to make money and feed their family's, and those who put in the hard work to learn and tune their own car... why would either want to give that away for free?

^ the truth

Mail order tunes are typically good starter tunes but remember that you always get what you pay for.

I think your missing the point of a tune. Coping someone else's is not really a going to get you the power that a real tune is about.

you get out of it what you put into it.
