Default Lingenfelter 58 to 24 converter

Out of the blue, my converter shuts off after about 5 minutes or so.
It blinks a few times than turns off.
Anyone with issues with their box?
??

A buddy heard those boxes suck and yes a redesign was done.

i've heard that the earlier boxes you need to switch two wires around in a pig tail. Basiclly the wires that need to be switched are the ones that go to the cam sensor and when they don't read correctly it causes sporatic behavior like shutting off and stuff.

No. That is one of the very first. They are now TRG002. And along with the 4 plugs there are 2 wires. Ignition goes to one and earth to the other. The problem is that the unit gets it's power from the crank sensor wiring and when the unit gets hot it overloads the PCM and so it shuts down. The new version had upgraded parts internally , a new software version and the extra power wires

hmmm, I have the TRG-001A model
pulled all the connections and wires are all good.
I gotta try and remember to call Lingenfelter to inquire. I'm out of warranty, had it for over a year now, but only 4k miles. Maybe they'll help out with fixing mine.

i have the new one and im just beginning to have trouble with it. been running it like 4 months. what i notice is that when the engine is cranking and not starting, the red led is not on. checked grounds and power wire. sometimes if i move the power to a different source, it will start. then the next day i go back and try to start it and same problem. led is there red when trying to crank, then dissapears after u crank and no start. WTF. i want a new one. I paid over 200 for this thing
