Default PCMForLESS?

Got a 418 ls3 im going to need tuned soon. Has anybody used PCMforLESS, where you send them your computer with all of your engine info and they tune the computer for you and send it back? If you have were you happy with it or do you wish you would have just taken the car to a tuner?

I had alvin dyno tune my car a couple years ago. Its an 89 formula with the OBD2 swap. He had the car about a week and when I picked it up it drives like new!

Brian Herter from PCM for less is a very good tuner. He can get you up and running via the mail, but with that build, I think to get it right, you need to get it on the dyno. Brian travels all over the place and I'm sure if u contacted him you could hook up at a local dyno shop that he is affiliated with and have him tune it for you.

Bryan (PCM for Less) Tuned mine also and it's fantastic. I hav a turbo charged ls3. He sent the first tune to me and I drove it a little and gave him info on what the gauges were reading and then sent it back and when I got it back the second time it was perfect. 300 bucks total charge. Needless to say I'm very happy.

Oh yes got my car back today. Real nice people, did a good job for me the only problem I have is I need a new fuel pump before they can finish the tune and my knock sensors are bad so i need to replace them and the have them turned back on.

I had Bryan tune my car - GREAT customer service. The tune seems as good as u can get without it on a Dyno. All depends on ur budget and what u want out of it, ya know?

I would not use them again. I had them Dyno tune my car and it died on me all the time. I called them several times and they recommended drilling a hole in my throttle body plate. This did not work either. I had the car re-tuned by someone else and it runs quicker, smoother and the idle is perfect. (No more stalling at every light)
