Default NOS-Wet or Dry?????????

I will be getting a 125 NOS setup soon... Just wondering if one is better for my 02 T/A convertiable A4/2.73 rear. Will the NOS shorten my motor life or is it relitively safe. the ony mods I have are-- Cold Air Induction/Lid/Ported MAF/160 stat/TB by-pass/and Predator Programer.

I found out that my car weights about 1000lbs more than a coupe. Hoping the 125 NOS will bring me from 13:40's to 12:80's or so!! But I don't want to hurt my motor/really just wondering if the stock LS1 can hold up to the NOS.

I'm new at all this / any advice / GREATLY APPRICATED

Dry would require that you have a lot of "fuel
injector margin", roughly 30%, to raise the
output by that level. If you have stock '02
injectors this may be pushing it (I've seen
them said to be good for low-400HP max output).
If you had logger data that showed your real
injector pulse width / duty cycle you could see
if there's that much left to give. Behind the
injector limit is the fuel pump waiting to fade.
The nitrous and the fueling sections have lots
of stuff about when & how you'd need to
upgrade the fuel delivery.

You would probably want to pull back spark
and add PE with the Predator when you're
planning to hit the nitrous.

Stock for stock the convertible-coupe
difference is more like 130lb (per GM). People
reported 3550 empty - 3750lb w/ driver weights
w/ varying gas tank and trunk junk. More of a
difference against a "stripper" V-6/V-8 though,
convertibles I think tended to come more fully
optioned.

Ported MAF has probably already put you leaner
that you should be, and possibly unsafe when you
add a big whiff of happy. I recommend that you
check out your WOT O2s as-is and see where you
sit, and see how far rich you can put them with
the Predator. Then if you're going to hook up the
nitrous, try using a series of jets (?) starting from
something smaller and working up by modest steps
so you have a chance to see if you're stepping
into trouble, without making it a big one.
