is JET a good tuning program?
i am thinking of purchasing a JET dynamic spectrum tuning program. I dont know anything about tuning. has anyone heard of this program? if so is it any good and how easy is it to learn? (i was a gm technician for 8 years just never done any custom tuning)

Unless you need it for a vehicle unsupported by the others, like a 96-97 Vortec 5.7 truck or a 96-97 LT1 F-body, you will be better of with HP Tuners or EFI Live that comes with a scanner too. Jet DST does not. The JET DST is really Tunercat OBD2 with different licensing costs. I have Tunercat OBD2 and HP Tuners and can do pretty much the same thing on the vehicles supported by both with the editor. HP Tuners has an easier GUI to navigate through. They both have a few tables that the other one does not. A good scanner is very useful to have.

I have tunercat obdII as well and efi live
efi live is hands down easier to use. both have good points and is why I own both however I really dont see a point in owning jet as they are vin locked and for a vin or pcm locked tuner id stick to efi live or hp.
