Default Turbo and 02 sensors. Hptuners

Im almost done with my turbo build. I will be running just one downpipe so i dont want to put 3 bungs into my downpipe for my wideband and both front 02's. Isthere anyway to tune for just one of the front 02 sensors? Like tell the pcm to read the siginal off one of them as the input for both?

Or can i just wire both plugs together into one and do it tjis way?

Depends on where you are and what you use the car for, but as an alternative you could force the car to open loop and eliminate the two forward O2 sensors.

Ive thought about that but id like to still keep decent fuel economy when driving around town so closed loop would probabally be a better optionnin
My application.

I always run OL, but keep the o2s in the hotside just to look at..you can at least tell if one bank goes stupid lean or something.

So yes, o2 before turbo, wideband after

Whats fuel economy like in openloop? Does it drop below 10 if you stay out of the power?

if its tuned up good, you shouldnt have bad fuel economy. As long as its not diving rich while cruising or taking off it should do great. If your only getting 10mpg in anything but WOT, theres a problem, I'd say 15mpg is an average obtainable number, but i've seen higher cruising with an OD car (4l80)

If you spend your time and do it right you can get approximately the same gas mileage.

Suggest the wideband be downstream in the down pipe. If you can get it 12", [or more] from the turbo hsg, it will reduce heat stress on the pump cell. Be sure to mount it, so it is above horizontal. Keeps moisture out of the cell.

Ok put the o2's about 4 inches from
The header collectors in the hot pipes. And the wideban about 18" from
The turbo in the up pipes

First Startup should be this afternoon
