Guys I just installed a gmpp LS3 into a 78 camaro got it all running went out to see what the fuel trims looked like since it has headers and cold air intake and of course they are way rich so I went to download the stock tune And I find out that its locked. Has anyone run into this yet other than me. what are my options. Btw iam using EFI LIVE.

Ran into this problem with HPtuners on a 2013 60th anniv ZR1.... not sure if efi live has the 2013 model year up yet.... but HPtuners had to send me a new beta to tune on the car... took abt 2 weeks... customer had to wait for the car to be tuned a little longer than expected.

The message that cam up said to email this tune to them so they could see it so thats the next step. I prob need to get the upgrades done as well since its a v2 flash/scan that is around 3 rears old.

Be sure you are selecting the right controller in your drop down menu. You can get that message if you don't pick the right one. Is it an E38 pcm or an E67?

You will need the latest V7/V8 software (both) and you will need to configure your V2

( goto the EFILive forum, look under the FlashScan V2 section )

The GMPP LS3 ECM would be an E67.
