Default O2 sensor not working HELP

Ok, so my o2 camaro ss m6 bolt ons isn't working, I've taken it to wiggins performance in nc and we've traced the issue to the driver side o2 not working, the car was back firing and so on, we'll we found out that the o2 sensor was heating up fine and working in closed loop, but when it went to open loop it decided to stop, therefore the car is throwing a lean code, and it's running stupid rich, does anyone think its a PCM? Idk what else it could be, we replaced it with a good o2 sensor and it still had the same problem

i have the same issue, hope somebody answers this question so i could get an idea as well. mine keeps running lean, then rich then they are inactive. so i keep thinking i have an EGR leak thats not letting them heat up. My last resort is tunning them out so that light goes away.

I've read that it's happened to other people and some found there sensor 1 o2 sensor was plugged into the sensor 2 spot, I would love if someone could share there experience as to where the sensor 1 plug is located on the car, mine was right up by the k member, does that sound right to everyone?

Sure thats the one on the K-Member under your Coolant Temp sensor Driver side. 4-pin square connector.

"Turning off" the light won't solve your issue. All your doing by tunning out that light is hiding the issue, the problem with faulty equipment is still there. Your front Sensor 1's Bank 1 and 2 both have a job to read the exhaust and adjust your fuel trims. The ones aft of the cats are somewhat useless and would be the ones you could.
