LS1 edit or Snap On MT2500 or...
With all the talk about Tech II & LS1 edit, should I take it that with my '00 TA that my old reliable Snap On MT2500 is not a good tool to do tuning, a case learn, or anything to my car?
Since I got the car I was going to get updated cartridges (ebay of course!) since my current cartridges only are until 98.
Should I not invest in a set of cartridges or should I sell my MT2500 & get another diagnostic scan/tuning tool, namely LS1 edit?
I still have the wife's 96 Sebring vert to plug into when needed.
Thanks

I also have a Snap-On scanner and think it is a very good scan tool. As you know everything the computer sees, you see. Haven't used it much on LS1's but you still will need Edit. I need to see if it's capable of doing things like the crank sensor relearn procedure (I've got the code cartridge to '00 but the t/s to '97 or '98).
