tune for extra pcm
I have an extra stock pcm for my 2000 pontiac t/a ws6.The one in the car has a custom tune.(look at my signature). How difficult is it to have someone
transfer the tune into my stock pcm while keeping the tune in my original pcm.
If you do this can I substute one pcm to the other and have the car run normally. Will they be interchangable.

Depends, if they have to buy either credits (HPTuners) or a VIN license (EFILive), its going to cost you at a minimum $99/125 just to license it. If a shop does a lot of tunes, they have year/model or streams, going to be a lot cheaper. If they have streams/etc unlocked, Id say ~100. If not, ~$200? It really depends on the tuner, might be easier to find a buddy with EFILive/HPTuners and have them do it, pay for their credits and beer.
I dont know how TunerCats does licensing.
