Default 03 LQ4 - modifying stoich - HPTuners

I may just be limited by my PCM, but can I change my commanded Stoich? I've looked at some other tunes in the repository, and some have a tab for commanded stoich in "fuel-general", however, all I have in that tab is "injector flow rate." I am trying to set my tuning up for a non SD deal, So in closed loop I would prefer to be a little richer than 14.7, but with trims in check. Thank you.

Make sure that your settings are set for "Advanced" to view all of the parameters. If it's set to "Beginner" many of the parameters aren't available.

I do not have it in front of me right now, is it obvious how to change the settings to advanced?

Things that are facts, should not be messed with. Now
stoich value from stock may not be true stoich (like E10
common gas can be lower than 14.7:1) but still you want
this number to be reality based, and if you want something
different do it by the commanded fueling (PE, EQ vs ECT
vs MAP for open loop, O2 switchpoints for closed loop).
All you do by changing stoich point in pursuit of an AFR
goal, without knowing the truth of it, is add another lie to
the mystery soup. Two wrongs don't make right and a
tune full of wrongs is a mess you'll never untangle.

So shooting for a 14.7 cruise afr is perfectly fine? That's my main concern is that it isn't too lean. However, I suppose if it were, engineers wouldn't have programmed it that way. I appreciate the feedback.

Does anyone have any good links to tuning the O2 switchpoints? I haven't seen much on that. I am still pretty green on tuning, but got the VE table looking nice on mine. Not trying to hijack this, but add to it since it was mentioned.

yeah its fine. you can even run it a little leaner, depending on your cam. i seem to get surging at anything leaner than 15.5 at cruise.
