Default Anyone else have no tune....running a cam, headers, stall...

Mods in sig...all on no tune. The car runs great and I average 17 mpg (mostly city and the occassional spirited driving).

Anyone else have these kinds of mods on a stock tune??

I dont see your sig but I have a cam , headers and bolt ons with stock tune . . . . it runs kinda shitty . not only do I need to get the rev limiter bumped up so I can actualy use the new powerband but my timing is a whopping 18 - 21 degrees wot all the time which is a joke. I have a pretty small sleeper cam too . . .also my gas milage sucks and my A/f looks to be around 12.0 . ... I think shes begging for the 125 shot back

i ran the stock tune for a second before driving up to get tuned...it ran like absolute crap rev limiter was under where the cam made peak hp converter wouldnt stay locked for more than 10 seconds it pretty much sucked...then again im not running a 220/114 cam either hehe so it was to be expected

sorry, i just changed the sig...mods are TR224-114, MW3500 stall, jethot long tubes, 3.73s...

only tuning is what i have been able to do with the Predator and it's real time feedback.

A friend of mine has an 02 SS M6....Comp 224-112 cam, TPIS long tubes, 4.10s, SSRA...he dyno'd 394hp. From a dig we are nearly side by side to 110 (that's where I think my car will trap, so thats where I let off).

Seems like it runs fine to me...

edit: WOT timing is 28 degrees, O2s are 885-910...

Like I said, you have a mild cam. Esp with that 114 LSA you can slide by on a stock tune. But with a good tune you could probably gain 10-20 rwhp.

Every converter I try messes with my idle stability and hitting the rev limiter. Even though it sounds like you are lucky and running good, I bet you have improvement left with a tune. FWIW my dyno tune was great but my track tune is better. Try to tune it the way you drive it - not on rollers.
