It lets you log "analog" (information provided as voltage
signals) data from non-PCM sources along with the PCM
data stream. Useful for pulling wideband O2 meter data,
you could log fuel pressure off an electric sender, or any
other thing that you want to have combined into the
whole data pile for tune analysis purposes. Most people
use it for the wideband, so they can see true WOT air-
fuel ratio and tune it up right. There are four channels.
So far I have only used it with my LM-1 wideband but
I do have an electric fuel pressure gauge I want to rig
up for live fuel pressure logging (have to figure out the
transform on that signal, though).
It also has two switch-to-ground outputs that can be
used to do "whatever".
