Any mods on the car? Any changes just before this light came on?
Could be a bad CAT possibly.. if it's a bad CAT that should be covered under warranty (8 year 80k federal emissions warranty) ...
Try swapping the passenger and driver side O2 sensors (the post cat o2s) and see if hte code follows the O2 sensor or still stays on that side

It is the after cat 02 sensor on the driver side. The dealership will not replace a bad cat under warranty unless you fail emissions. I know I went through it with them. Replace the sensor. Or you could do what I did, get headers.
Make sure you delete the code after the install. The car goes into a "Limp" mode, and retards timming as long as you have that code. You will lose about 15rwhp w/code on.
sensor is about $70 and AutoZone will remove the code for you after for free. They are easy to replace and take about 5 min.

eh... AFAIK the rear sensors are only there to to ensure the CAT is doing its job ... they're not performance related... you can pull both sensors , have an SES light staring you in the face and it shouldn't have any effect ... now if you had cleared the PCM (reset) prior to the dyno that could account for loss of hp and timing since the PCM takes a while to learn to use the high octane table 100%

Well, since't it's the rear O2's, I'm ok then since I've got Pacesetters and duals waiting in my basement So no worries then?
I'm also installing a cam and getting tuned in the spring, so I can get rid of this crap anyway.
FWIW, I've only got a lid and loudmouth at the present time. Those are the only mods I've had since October.
The only thing that was weird with my car yesterday before the light came on is I was racing a WRX on the highway and I downshifted into 2nd - whereas I should have gone to 3rd. So that resulted in NASTY axle hop, so maybe the exhaust shifted enough that the O2 hit off something. Who knows...
