Default Beta diagnostic - LS1Edit

Is anyone using this?

I downloadded it and can't seem to get it to work. I assuem you use your LS1Edit cable and that it is a standalone software program.

Is this correct/

What does it log and is it good or a piece of dung?

Default Best diagnostic software

I need to do some diagnstic testing (Ltrims) to better tune my car with Edit.

I currently have OBD-2 by alex pepper. It is garbAGE becasue any results need to be cut and pasted to an MS Excel file.

Is there another software program that is easy to use and not costly?

Robert the scanner works fine and the exporting to excel is seamless.
Yep you use the cable. Hook it up, turn on the ignition and start the program.
I think where you may have gone astray is in the program setup. Follow the directions precisely. I think you need to load it in the same directory as LS1EDIT.

Not bad at all!
How many lines / data per second is it able to record?
I actually use Atap on my Palm and it's pretty slow: if I record 12 parameters at time (the max that it can do) it will write a line every 0.5 sec.
It works but for certain things it's too slow.

I'm sorry I don't know how many lines per second it logs but it's fast.
