HP not recognizing wideband
Can't get it to work.
I have the LC-1 green and white hooked up to the black of the I/O
The I think I used the LC-1 brown hooked up to the I/O green.
But I get nothing. I wonder if my I/O box is no good or something like that.

use a volt meter and measure the output voltage (out of the LC-1)... if it changes thn you're getting an output from the LC-1 (doesn't mean it's right though... you need the one that's a 5 volt range... not the one that's 1 volt for narrowband)
Are you adding the special PID as shown in the help file? when you say it's not working... how is it not working?
Also you should only have 1 wire hooked up to any wire on the EIO...
The Black wire is ground only... by Green and white you mean 2 colors on 1 wire right? not 2 seperate wires? (if so you just applied voltage to a ground of both the EIo and the LC-1)
is the Green and white the ground? you can test that w/a volt meter
If you used the HPT Green wire that's input #4... make sure you're using #4 then on the table display....
Really though we need more info on how it's not working... there are many ways for something not to work
Most likely it's just wired up wrong or you're adding the wrong PID... also have you contacted HP Tuners support? that would be the first place to go

I can't find the special pid that I read about.
I mean 2 wires one green(newer version LC-1) and the other white/metallic(system ground) and they say to wire up to the HPT black wire. Both are ground.
Yes I am using input #4(green) but I can't seem to find the table that I would use input #4
I know its something I am doing I just can't figure it out.
Also I read that 6 new cells or something like will pop up when you plug in the I/O. Well I don't seem to see that at all.

oh ok... didnt realize that the new LC1 had 2 ground wires... so long as they are both ground then you should be fine there...
I would test each wire w/a voltmeter to verify which are sending power and which are grounds
Then , w/the scanner connected to the car, and the wideband hooked up... you should be able to right click in the fields on the bottom (new fields should appear in the table)
Definetly contact support as well as I haven't had experience w/the LC-1, so not sure if there are any tricks w/it

This is how I have it hooked up straight from HPT web site.
a. Red 12V supply << To a 12 fused ignition source
b. Blue Heater Ground << Chassis ground
c. White System Ground << To our EIO black wire
d. Yellow Analog out 1 **
e. Brown Analog out 2 **
f. Green Analog Ground << To our EIO black wire
g. Black Calibration wire

no, in the table display... below the list of normal pids, new entries should open up that are blank that you can right click and insert to add the new EIO PIDs
