Default need tuning help

Hey guys, I drive a 1999 TA. and am having some issues with tuning it. My AFR stays around a 12.7ish at wot in 1st and second gear but then drops off to a 12.0ish in third. Also when the temp rises 20 to 30 degrees my afr hangs around the 12.0ish mark. Can you guys look at a few of my logs and tune for me? It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using hp tuners to tune.

thanks... what exackly does that mess up?

I have done the ltft several times in sd mode and they just seem to keep getting bad off... Since I have a 99 car i know I have to fix the secondary table as well. Do I do this each time i make changes to the primary or after I get the primary dialed in?

when I do the ve tuning Im coping the ltft table and special paste add then im doing the same with the stft.. I got the looking ok at one point then did the secondary table using the excel file and things went bad again..

thanks

In SD mode, it's running off the secondary VE table. Do your edits to that table.

so I edit the primary ve table, use the conversion table in excel and paste the results to the secondary ve table? If so, that is what I've been doing so far.

I'm also getting 6 to 7 degrees of knock at 30-60% throttle. What would be causing this?

Here is another log and another tune I've been working on.

scan 3

newest tune

If I can ever get this tune right I'll post it in the .bin file Repository.

Thanks for the help so far.

Just edit the secondary table for now. No need to export to excel. Just setup a histogram showing the LTFT % vs. RPM vs. MAP. Either do a copy/paste or paste *% of the appropriate rows. i.e. default histogram shows primary VE table, which has more rows than the secondary.

Summary, editing your primary VE won't affect settings in SD mode. Make all your changes to secondary VE.

As far as the KR goes, if you are certain that you are not getting KR for a real mech problem check out a 2002 Fbody Knock sensor profile. I found the differences btw 02 and 98 significant. I swapped, no more false KR.
