Performance Chip?!
Guys i was thinking of getting a performance chip for my 2000 ss but i dont know is it is worth the money. Can someone tell me if it is worth it and if it is tell me what a good chip is for it. I heard some stuff about the venom 400 but i have no idea.

no offense as i wouldn't know what i was doing if i sat down in front of EFI live or some similar program, but if this guy is asking this question then he DEFINATELY wouldn't. i'd suggest paying a place to dyno tune your car, where you located man?

how does it work like what do you take the computer out connect that **** to your computer run the software and connect the cars computer up to your computer and tune it and put it back in. and yes im a noob

It works from your laptop. Im not sure if you take the computer out. I think you connect the car computer to your laptop and using the software, you custom tune it. It seems very high tech and cool.

The software package comes with a cable.
One end of the cable connectes to the OBD-II Diagnostic Port under the dash in the driver's footwell. The other end of the cable connects to a PC via the USB or Serial port.
