I have an SLP lid, cutout, some free mods, Headers will Be next. I know that a custom tune will be the best for that setup, and if I get a cam there is NO OTHER WAY. I'm pretty much getting this chip for nothing. So my question is does anyone have this chip with these mods or know how it would do? I know a stock car wouldn't benefit a great deal, But with breathing in and out better the stage II should be good right? Only those that have experience with this need reply please.

My99TA, the PCM in your 99 TA uses flash eeprom, so if someone sold you a chip then, unfortunately, you've been had.

(Steve, I've been wondering, does your sig refer to the paint being chipped...?)

Oh yeah...just make sure you get the "Corvette Stage III" chip...it unlocks all the stuff that is limited to the Police interceptors

is it true i have a corvette engine in my car? stage III? so then will that give me the turbo sound the cop cars have? my HPT is out the door now!!

Oh yeah. But you are missing the Corvette chip. So you are down like 30-40HP right there.

It won't really give you that turbo sound, but it'll go faster with that chip than if it had a turbo. No way can a turbo touch a chipped LS1.

I've got a couple of left over 60hp chips that you connect to the iat sensor giving you that turbocharged feeling, if your interested let me know...im asking $60 for each chip...figure 1hp per dollar is a pretty good ratio
